The
UltraMig Series of welders use advanced computerized technology.
Adjustments are constantly being made as the microprocessor
synchronizes the wire speed with the current and the voltage
to achieve the best results from every weld operation.
Technicians
can easily increase or decrease the wire speed on the touch
pad console (for the fine tuning of the wire feed). When the
adjustments are made, the wire is fed smoothly through the
light weight torch to create a flat weld. The UltraMigs accommodate
both steel and aluminum wire up to .045 (1.2mm) thickness
and may be changed with minimal effort. The specially designed
wire driven rollers adjust to the proper wire size automatically.
Operators
have the option to select the Continuous, Spot or Stitch/Intermittent
Modes to suit the job. Each mode offers completely adjustable
settings for the technicians preference, the metal thickness
and the welding job. Spot welds can be made by drilling or
punching a 5/16 hole in the top piece of metal and continuing
on with a weld in the drilled hole to seal the two pieces
together.
For portability,
the attached casters allow these high powered systems be rolled
to the desired location. The extended power cord, the completely
removable, quick connect cable and cooling system are some
of the additional benefits of the UltraMig series. |
The UltraMig
209 is compatible with the optional Spool Gun. Thes
handy tool eliminates the changing wire types when the need
arises. If technicians primarily use steel wire, they have
the option of loading up to one pound of aluminum wire in
the optional Spool Gun to use when needed. This lightweight,
compact gun is easily maneuvered and completely removable
when not in use. |
